RABIES UPDATE:
We want to keep you informed about the recent rabies cases identified in seals. Our team is actively monitoring the situation in coordination with the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, as well as Cape Nature who manage Robberg Nature Reserve. While the cases have been isolated, we’ve introduced additional safety measures to protect everyone.
To help manage the risk, we’ve implemented extra precautions by working together with the other operators & have experienced marine spotters keeping an eye out for any unusual seal behaviour.
During excursions, our guides carry first aid kits specifically for bite injuries and are always close by while you’re in the water, ready to assist immediately. The boat stays close to the group to pick up divers swiftly, if required. We have a 30 year impeccable safety record and our crew are always ready to react in any situation.
Our local trauma doctor is fully equipped to handle seal bite incidents and we have ensured that vaccines are readily available.
If you’re feeling unsure, you’re welcome to switch to a viewing trip instead—it’s just as fun and a great way to enjoy the experience from a different perspective. Whatever you choose, we’re here to make sure your adventure is both safe, enjoyable & memorable!

Customer Reviews

Brilliant. Professional, helpful, friendly - loved my dives & will be back! - Shaun

What a special dive, with great vis and awesome reefs with abundance of life and schools of fish. Blessed to see 2x bull rays. Really special as I experienced it together with my family - we have not dived together since 2021. The "diving with the seals" was also a fist time experience for us - done and got the tee shirt but will rather go back to the reefs again Thanks ProDive for an awesome enjoyable experience- really professional and friendly team! - Zane

Fijne ervaring met ProDive. Hele aardige mensen, goed materiaal, professioneel. De duik met de zeehonden is een geweldige ervaring. Wij deden de combi, helaas hadden we bij de Reef Dive geen zicht, maar de zeehonden was ondanks het koude water een top ervaring. - Maria

Diving with my buddy Jochen from Germany, I'd been here before but for Jochen it was the first time. We had a lovely time and the service was great. Thank you Peter - Peter

Excellent service, and dive! DM and DI were extremely helpful and there was a fast turnaround between dives. - Callaghan
